My wife and I finally stopped by Sahara Market to try the chicken shawarma after I recently saw some videos online showing that they had started serving hot food, and I’m glad we did. The menu is pretty small and straightforward, but they do what they offer really well. They have chicken or beef shawarma, and you can get either one as a shawarma wrap in lavash or as a bowl. We both went with the chicken shawarma wraps, and I got mine spicy. It was delicious. The chicken had great flavor on its own, and all of the ingredients tasted fresh. The onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, and especially the pickles worked really well together. The pickles added that acidity that cut through the richness and really brought everything together. I also loved that the portion was big and filling without feeling overly heavy. The lavash keeps it lighter than a thicker bread, and they finish the wrap by pressing and grilling it, which gives the outside a nice crisp texture while everything inside stays fresh and flavorful. You could really taste the quality in each ingredient. The owner was also great to talk with and provided excellent service. There isn’t indoor seating, so we used the outdoor patio

We tried their shawarma bowls and OMG, AMAZING! Bursting with flavor and surprisingly big portions. One of the best food we have had since we moved out here. Price was very good for the portion size we got!

My husband and I just finished eating here and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Shawarma~Delicious, Rice bowls with beef or chicken~Delicous, Fries~ fresh, hot and delicious! Everything was super fresh and made right there. Owner is a super cool guy too.... we will definitely be going back as often as we can. YUM!!

Been going here for years for groceries! They always have a decent stock of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean groceries that are harder to find at other stores, and they now serve shawarma as well. The beef and chicken shawarma are very good- highly recommend it!

Super well organized and clean store. So much to choose from! And they had what I was looking for, Noon Sangak. I was given recommendations and even recipes for the bread, overall amazing experience. Definitely check this store out!
